Tubeless Tire Maintenance Class

Tubeless tires require different knowledge and skills when compared to a traditional tire with a tube. More of the newer bikes are being sold with tubeless tires, so cyclists will need new skills in the event of a puncture.

We invite you to join us for a class to learn about maintaining these tires. The fee is $10 for the class, with pizza and non-alcoholic beverages included.

Areas likely to be covered:

• Tire sealant; what it does, also the schedule and the proper method for injecting it into a tubeless tire
• How the sealant works when a small puncture occurs
• Various methods to repair a tire if a large puncture occurs (plugs, temporary tube, etc.).
